What could your garden give back?

Produce value is a range for a typical mixed kitchen garden: yield per square metre over an Irish growing season, priced at Irish supermarket rates. We scale it to the growing area of your bed.

Your planting plan shares the bed equally between the crops you pick, using standard raised-bed spacing. We round down, so you may fit a little more.

Some crops need deeper soil, so they're only offered on the 300mm deep beds.

Cost per year is the price of your Mia spread over its 30-year structural guarantee. It may well last longer; we don't count that.

For the timber comparison we assume a basic timber bed costs €150 and lasts four years, so eight beds over 30 years. That's deliberately conservative: we use the same €150 whichever Mia you choose, even the larger ones.

These are estimates, not promises. Your harvest depends on variety, weather, care and how you plant. Seeds, compost, water and your time aren't included.
